Abingdon Court is a purpose-built care home specialising in the provision of residential, nursing and dementia care. The dedicated staff team strives to offer the highest standards of care in a homely and supportive environment.
The home recently underwent an extensive refurbishment, all of the bedrooms are single en-suite and furnished to the highest standards. There is a choice of lounges and spacious dining rooms, plus a tea room, shop and hairdressing salon. The beautiful courtyard gardens can be viewed from many areas of the home and are enjoyed by all and are a hub of activity and host to many events during the warmer months.
Abingdon Court is easily accessible, less than half a mile from the A34 and the historic and bustling Abingdon town centre with its shops, cafes and restaurants, and beautiful walks along the Thames. There is onsite parking available and the home is easily reached by public transport, with a bus stop right outside.
The social and activity calendar at Abingdon is a busy one with a variety of activities each day. You can choose to be as involved as much as you wish. Our activities team continually consult our residents about ideas and they work hard to ensure that the social program is engaging and fun, with something for everyone.
