Overview
The Grange is a small friendly care home in the village of Rennington near Alnwick, which can accommodate 26 residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with dementia and mental health needs. The Grange also offers the following short stay services; respite care and day care places. The Home Manager is Charlotte Hardy who has several years of experience in residential care, supported by her experienced team of carers and support workers.
The residential care home has been established since 1981 and the building has seen two extensions since that time, and we are very much part of the small village community. Rooms can be personalised to the individuals taste and there are three communal lounges. There are private gardens at the rear of the home for relaxation and raised beds for those residents who enjoy gardening, our activities co-ordinators ensure that there are daily activities on offer for those who choose to participate, we have two home cars and are lucky to be close to both the coast and the picturesque hills so have regular trips out and about.
The cooks produce wonderful home cooked food and delicious cakes and cater for all types of dietary needs, snacks and drinks are available at any time.
