At The Laurels, we offer care to suit an individual’s needs, long term care for those who need daily Nursing and Residential care. We have a very proactive activity organizer to provide our residents exciting and interesting activities, taking account of residents’ interest.

The Laurels, a grade II listed building, comprises an impressive and magnificent two storey Georgian mansion set in wooded ground of approximately 4.5 acre with mezzanine level and converted basement, constructed during the mid-18th Century. It has been carefully converted and extended to form a welcoming home. The accommodation is elegant and stylish with many attractive period features including extensive moulded plasterwork. The Laurels retains much of its original character with four substantial columns to the front elevation and other ornate architectural feature such as detail carved stonework to the gutters.
The Laurels is furnished to a high standard throughout, and has been discerningly laid out providing light and spacious accommodation. It offers a choice of spacious lounge areas where residents can meet and chat, or find peace to read or play cards, meals are served in the home’s elegant dining rooms. All the bedrooms are bright and airy and attractively decorated. There are a number of twin rooms for couples or those who wish to share.
The home is set in well-maintained gardens with beautiful lawns, flower and shrub borders, and a paved courtyard area and a driveway leads to a large car park.
