Overview

A stunningly beautiful Grade II listed building, Burton Closes Hall Residential Care Home is truly a unique venue offering exceptional levels of service. Based on the outskirts of the Peak District town of Bakewell, the home has fantastic country views and grounds, while still being conveniently placed to local amenities.
Having specialist units means that we can tailor our care in even greater detail and offer the specific care needed by our residents which includes residential, residential dementia, nursing, nursing dementia, disability, respite and end of life.
Our team is available around the clock should residents require any assistance and individual care plans ensure their specific needs are catered for thus providing peace of mind for their loved ones. The dedicated Manager and staff pride themselves on the care and attention they provide to both the residents and their families and make it their priority to provide the physical and emotional support needed from when they move in and through their subsequent time with us.
All 58 bedrooms are wheelchair accessible and include internet access, TV aerial sockets for residents to use at their will, and of course, nurse call systems for their safety and wellbeing. We also encourage the people who reside with us to personalise their rooms with items of furniture, photographs, memorabilia and even their pets, by arrangement, in the hope that this will make their new room feel more like their own.
We offer our residents the option of keeping their own GP, if they’re local, to make sure they still feel a sense of control over their own health and have daily newspaper orders and deliveries for our residents to take advantage of if they wish.
Meals times are protected, and we welcome friends and relatives to join our residents for meals in the home prepared on site by our team in the 5-Star kitchen. We cater for all celebrations of our residents and any dietary and cultural requirements they may have. We offer a wide choice of delicious home cooked meals so our residents will always find something to their taste and of course, we understand that sometimes they just want a quiet meal by themselves in the comfort of their room so we always give them this option. We also ensure fresh snacks, fruit and refreshments are available around the clock ensuring our residents are never too peckish in between meals.
Here at Burton Closes Hall Residential Care Home, we boast own hair salon meaning residents can keep on top of their hair dos right under their own roof and host regular visits from healthcare practitioners such the dentist, optician and podiatrist. We have a kitchenette for residents and their visitors to use as well as a lift where required, they also have an option of 2 communal lounges, perfect for socialising with other residents, and 2 quiet lounges for when they just want some peace during their day.
Wheelchair accessibility means that all our residents can take advantage of our lawned, mature garden. Our raised flower beds and beautiful views of Bakewell create a relaxed and scenic garden experience they can enjoy with their loved ones through the summer months.
Our activity room creates a great opportunity for our residents to have some fun with their family members, other residents and even the staff when participating in the wide range of motivating and entertaining activities we offer.
