Overview

Care can be provided for those with learning disabilities. Lawrence House Residential Care Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care.

Often referred to as homely, individual bedrooms are decorated to personal taste. Each room has ample storage and wardrobe area, washing facilities, suitable bed to meet assessed needs, bedside cabinet, side lamp. Other furniture is available to personalise the bedroom depending on requirements, including easy/reclining chair, work desk, and dressing table.
Residents are able to access all communal areas at all times.

Weekly activities include arts and crafts, music, drama, swimming, and outings/ Participation in external groups is also encouraged.

All residents are encouraged to assist and develop skills in meal prep, tidying of bedrooms, and personal laundry

The individual requirement for privacy will be respected always and all information relating to individuals will be treated in a confidential manner. We recognise the individual need for personal fulfilment and aim to support Service Users to identify activities that are meaningful to them.
