Here are just a selection of the social activities at St Peter’s Park for you to enjoy.
Get out into the garden with three acres of attractive grounds to explore, including an award-winning wildlife garden, nine-hole putting green and patio courtyards. Enjoy regular activities including crafts, games, raffles and trips out. We have our own minibus for group and individual days out and a dedicated Activities Coordinator who plans daily activities. Dining
At St Peter’s Park Retirement Village you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of talented chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining rooms, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Nutrition is an important part of the care we provide. That’s why our catering team take time to get to know your likes and dislikes before putting together a varied menu for you to choose from.
Bedrooms
Unusually for a care home, many of our bedrooms have their own outside space to enjoy, whether that’s a balcony or a terrace with room for flower pots and a table and chairs. We have ground floor rooms with direct access to the garden or our courtyard, and our first floor is fully accessible by stairs or a lift.
The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also enables our care team to understand what’s important to you and help them to build a close relationship with you.
Gardens
We’re very proud of our attractive and spacious grounds, spread across three acres, including an award-winning wildlife garden, nine-hole putting green and patio courtyards for you to enjoy.
Our full-time gardener tends to the beautiful surroundings, and will happily share his expertise (and learn from yours) should you decide to join in with gardening activities.
