The large Victorian House, standing in its own grounds with lovely country surroundings, with well-maintained gardens, it is a short distance away from the town of Bideford. Access to the main entrance is up several steps, there is a rear access from the car park which is wheelchair friendly.
Rosehill Rest Home has been taken over by R C Care Rosehill LTD. By C Treanor, and has been in operation since 1989, taken over from previous ownership is run as a family home and we provide a caring, warm, safe, friendly, and secure environment.


We aim to provide the best possible care and enable our residents to continue living as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their personal requirements and assessed needs, with the involvement of all the community services, which include, GPs, Social Workers, District Nurses, Physiotherapist, CPN, Dentist, Optician, Chiropodist.
We never lose sight of our aim when our Residents require more than the first assessed needs, as they get older and frailer, we make sure we have adequately trained staff to meet their needs.

Ensure that where staff assistance is required with personal care it is performed with due regard to the need to safeguard the privacy of the resident.
Residents can discuss personal matters with staff or visitors in private. Ensure that staff deals discreetly with resident’s affairs and safeguard the confidentiality of information held about them.
Create safeguards to ensure that any erosion of privacy that is considered by “management” to be necessary to provide essential care for individuals is explained, justified, and reviewed regularly.
