Overview

Welcome to Hamilton Court, where we are dedicated to providing high-quality, person-centred residential care for adults with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, complex needs, autism, and associated challenging behaviours. Our home, rated 'Good' by the CQC, offers a nurturing environment where stability, consistency, and acceptance are at the heart of our care philosophy.

Hamilton Court features 13 thoughtfully designed bedrooms, each providing a safe and comfortable space for our residents. More than just a place to live, our home serves as a sanctuary where individuals can feel secure, valued, and supported. The environment is carefully crafted to foster feelings of familiarity and progression, particularly for those who have endured significant challenges in their lives.

Understanding that every individual has unique needs and aspirations, we offer bespoke care packages meticulously tailored to meet each resident's assessed needs. Our team of dedicated professionals, skilled in managing complex needs and challenging behaviours, works closely with each resident to develop a personalized programme of support. This programme addresses not only their physical and emotional needs but also promotes independence and personal growth. To ensure comprehensive care, our 24-hour onsite team is supported by a central outreach team, offering additional expertise in areas such as Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech and Language Therapy (SLT), Psychology, and Psychiatry. This collaborative approach ensures that every resident receives the best possible care, guided by evidence-based practices and the latest in innovative care solutions.

At Hamilton Court, we believe that every individual deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. Our philosophy is grounded in the principles of dignity, privacy, independence, security, choice, and fulfilment. We aim to create a supportive environment that encourages relationship-building, trust, and personal empowerment. By recognizing the inherent value of each person, we strive to help our residents enjoy their rights as individuals to the fullest extent.

We are committed to recognizing and respecting the unique qualities of each resident, ensuring that their individual needs are met with compassion and understanding. We provide as much private space as possible, respecting the sanctity of each resident's personal life and confidentiality. Empowering our residents to maintain control over their lives, we offer support and encouragement to foster their independence. Ensuring a safe and secure environment, we maintain readily available assistance and rigorous safety protocols to protect our residents. By offering a wide range of options in their daily lives, we allow our residents to make decisions that reflect their preferences and desires. Additionally, we create opportunities for our residents to pursue their personal aspirations and abilities through a diverse programme of social and cultural activities.

Hamilton Court is not just a care home; it is a community. We encourage residents to engage with their loved ones, inviting them to meals and celebrating special occasions together. Our Activity Lounge serves as a hub of social interaction, where residents can host parties, entertain guests, and enjoy a vibrant social life. Our ultimate goal is to provide a happy and fulfilling life for our residents, ensuring that they feel valued, respected, and at home.
