Sycamore House is located in Havelock Road, Tyseley in a quiet part of town with surrounding areas of Sparkhill, Small Heath, Acocks Green and Hall Green. The National Health Service provisions are met by Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals, and Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Most service users are registered by Acocks Green Medical Centre and this centre has been providing medical care to service users of Sycamore House for the last 30 years.
Our aim is to ensure your experience is warm, friendly and caring with efficient services throughout if you take occupation at Sycamore House. The care Manager is always at hand to listen to any comment and will attend to any needs that you may have. Sycamore House as a policy to keep the front door lock at all times in order to ensure the safety and security of the service users and staff. Any service user or person entering or leaving the premises has to report to a member of staff and register their names in the log book provided.
Sycamore House has many facilities, some or all of which, we hope you have the chance to enjoy whilst staying with us. The bedrooms are adequately furnished for comfort and privacy, it will meet your individual needs. The staff will help you if you have any further requirements. The main lounge has a setting of communal living with television and music. There are other recreational facilities in the Home. There is a conservatory area overlooking the garden which is use for smoking.
Sycamore House dining area has an inviting atmosphere where foods and drinks are served in a luxury fashion, and are use as a meeting place by most service users. Service users can be offered cold drinks, hot drinks and snacks throughout the day on request.
We are committed to improve service users care at all times. Any comment or suggestions are appreciated by the staff and management.
