Victoria Lodge Care Home accommodates 24 residents and we are proud to have retained the CQC rated "outstanding" for the last 7 years home specialising in residential person centred dementia care and day care.. The beautiful established family run home is situated near to shops and the town and is within easy reach of public transport. Fully qualified experienced management and carers offer residents and their families the support they need throughout their stay. Our home has been adapted to provide a warm and comfortable environment for each of our elderly residents. We are situated in a quiet area of Solihull and in private ownership. The property is tastefully decorated to provide a person centred homely feel.
We provide person centred residential care welcoming residents who are privately financed and those funded by Solihull and Birmingham and other Local Authorities. Fees depend on the particular accommodation chosen and the person centred care needs of the resident. Additional services requested by the resident or their nominated representative can be provided.
Social Activities:
The activity team at Victoria lodge specialises in person centred one to one and group activities. Activities are a vital part of the daily life at our home. The Activities team and the residents discuss and design monthly planners which involves individual activity schedules one to ones, involving personal lives and interests celebrations and group activities. Residents hold weekly resident meetings where the activity planners menus staffing levels care and environment is discussed then any suggestions actioned. Family participation is entirely voluntary and families can take part in any activities and meetings if they so wish.
Wellbeing of our staff and residents is vital to everyone at Victoria lodge management have an open door policy and people are listened to this making people feel valued and their wellbeing improved.
In addition we provide trips out into the community shops and cafes, weekly visits from local hairdressers, dentists chiropodists, and vital spiritual community involvement from local religious leaders of all denominations.
