Sherwood House is a small residential home for the elderly, designed to make service users feel comfortable and warm in friendly surroundings. We offer as much or as little help as required and pride ourselves on the high level of person centred care.
Sherwood House is a detached building situated on Clifton Street in the small town of Rishton. Sherwood House is attractively decorated to a high standard, with 6 spacious en-suite bedrooms.
There is also a large lounge, kitchen and dining room which allow service users to interact with freedom and independence. Sherwood House has been designed to be as comfortable as possible and be a home away from home.
There are a number of local amenities within short walking distance such as the library, health centre, parks and shops as well as good local transport links.
We offer a wide range of home cooked food to suit everybody’s dietary needs. All of our food is cooked on site from fresh local ingredients.
We have a wide range of recreational activities and we are more than happy to accommodate any other hobbies or social activities.
Respite/holiday and convalescent care also available.
