Overview

Nestled in the peaceful Beacon Hill area of Bodmin, Tremanse House Care Home is a privately owned residence dedicated to providing comfort, dignity, and a true sense of home for people living with mental health conditions. Surrounded by beautiful grounds, our welcoming environment is designed to support every resident in living a fulfilling and enjoyable life and learn skills to integrate into independent living. We are a small home with a diverse team of support workers that are experienced in providing person centred care with a passion to improve quality of life for all that use our service.

We offer a wide range of tailored activities to suit individual interests and abilities, as well as the opportunity to explore Cornwall with outings in our care home vehicle. Just a short distance from Bodmin town centre, Tremanse House has easy access to local amenities including shops, cafés, hair salons, a cinema, and excellent public transport links.

We understand that every individual’s needs and circumstances are unique. That’s why we offer flexible funding options, including private (self-funding) and Local Authority support, with the option of top-up contributions, making quality care accessible to everyone.

Our home is proud to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. Alongside English, our caring staff team speak a range of languages including Bulgarian, French, German, Lithuanian, Polish, Portuguese, and Russian—helping residents feel comfortable, understood, and truly at home.

At Tremanse House Care Home, our mission is simple: to create a nurturing and supportive community where every resident is treated with respect, compassion, and individuality. This is more than a place to live—it’s a place to thrive.
