Meadowhill Care Home is owned by Westgate Healthcare, a family-run, award winning care group with over 20 years of experience in providing high-quality care and supporting residents to live life in the way they choose. At Meadowhill we support older people with residential care needs and we can also support those living with dementia. We care for those who are moving in as permanent, long-stay residents, and we also care for short stay, respite residents. It's our belief that life is to be loved, and moving into a care home should not change that. As unique individuals, everybody deserves the level of care and attention that suits them personally. What's more, happiness depends on being able to live life the way you want.
We aim to provide a safe and homely environment, with an open, family-style approach to living where you can feel totally secure and at ease. Our excellent staff team are well trained and there will always be someone there if you need assistance, 24 hours a day, providing you support in a manner that encourages self-determination and enables you to live life to your full potential and according to your own choices.
We believe in quality of life as well as providing quality care; in treating people with respect and dignity, maintaining social and cultural links, listening to people and involving them when decisions are made, working flexibly in an attentive and non-discriminatory fashion, and in embracing new ideas. We support the needs and values of all our residents regardless of religion, beliefs, culture, race, ethnic origin and sexuality.
We believe in freedom - within safe boundaries. In support - whilst encouraging independence wherever possible. In peace of mind - for residents and relatives. We are here to make a difference.
