Overview

Our Blenheim home boasts lovely interiors, cosy rooms, spacious common areas, and intimate lounges. We are fortunate to have two beautiful gardens which has its very own seating areas. Our home provides 24-hour a day tailored care in a home-from-home setting, which you are encouraged to personalise and make your own. This helps our care team understand what’s important to you.
Social Activities
We pick and choose activities to enjoy from a long list of ideas from pottery and bingo to trips out to the garden centre and the big Marks and Spencer store at Castlepoint Shopping Centre. At Blenheim, we love animals that come to visit, including bearded dragons, chinchillas, rabbits, guinea pigs and dogs. We use one of our smaller lounges which is a good spot for quieter activities and reminiscing. We’ve gathered lots of objects to stimulate memories and conversations, including books, records, knitting patterns, tea sets, old magazines and Royal Family memorabilia.
Dining
At Blenheim Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sourced wherever possible.
Meals are served in our superb dining rooms or our relaxing conservatory, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Bedrooms
There are 27 bedrooms for people living at Blenheim Care Home, four of which are double rooms and can accommodate couples.
All but one of our bedrooms has an en-suite toilet and vanity unit. One bedroom has an en-suite wet room and one an en-suite bathroom. All our rooms have accessible bathrooms nearby.
Many of the bedrooms look out onto the garden, and most of our ground-floor bedrooms have direct garden access.
Gardens
We have two beautiful enclosed and secure gardens: one at the front and one at the back of the house. There are planters and raised beds for flowers and vegetables, plus plenty of room to sit out.
Our garden is a great spot for activities and eating outside. If you enjoy watching the wildlife then our garden is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon watching the bird’s nest in our beautiful trees.
