Muscliff Nursing Home is a nursing home in the area of Bournemouth, which can accommodate 41 residents - it has an 'Outstanding' rating from the CQC. The home specialises in providing care for people living with dementia. Muscliff Nursing Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care and discharge to assess.
Purpose built in 1997, Muscliff Care Home was designed to fulfil the changing needs of its residents. All bedrooms come with their own en-suite bathrooms, and some of the rooms have recently been upgraded with wet rooms.
The home also has two hydrotherapy bathrooms, several communal areas and a large, welcoming dining room. Residents also have access to our beautiful spacious and secure gardens which contain a pond and many seating areas where residents can totally relax and enjoy being with family and friends.
Situated at the heart of Muscliff, we ensure that residents are enabled to maintain their connection with the community and get the most out of life. Group and individual trips out to the local shops and parks are daily occurrences. We offer daily activities and actively encourage residents to continue any lifelong hobbies and interests to keep them active. We have a sensory room and a Tovertafel Magic table which we encourage residents to use with staff or with visiting family. There are also four portable sensory units which can be taken to less mobile residents and enjoyed in their rooms.
We consider ourselves to be one big family at Muscliff Care Home and we encourage visits from family, friends, children and pets at any time. We also enjoy visits from the local primary school where groups of children regularly interact with our residents in a variety of fun and stimulating ways.
Our nursing team are skilled in supporting residents living with dementia as well as their physical healthcare needs. The expertise of the team offers the flexibility to respond to the changing needs of residents and we can support one-to-one care if and when it is needed.
