Overview
Willow Lodge is a residential home committed to delivering personalized
support, in a brain injury aware environment, which reflects the diverse
paths to recovery.
The overall goal of our support and rehabilitation services is to improve
function and skills and to promote autonomy.
We will ensure through regular review meetings that changing support needs are quickly identified and
addressed.
Activities
Every individual that we support will have an allocated key worker who will provide support with all aspects of
their person-centered plan.
We encourage people we support to learn new skills whilst supporting them into voluntary roles in the
community where they can achieve, follow their dreams, and have a better quality of life.
We support mindfulness with attending mindfulness classes, Ty Chi classes and welcome Bournemouth
Samaritans and their highly trained golden Labrador for pet therapy.
People we support are benefiting from 1:1 time doing inside and outside activities that can help with
cognitive, physical, and social aspects of recovery.
They are visiting local gyms, churches, cinema, local parks and sea side.
They can enjoy going to the pub or having lunch and dinner at restaurants or picnics.
All people living at Willow Lodge are encouraged and supported to prepare their won meals,
complete their own tasks exactly as they have done it home.
They are enjoying amazing dinner and cultural dinner evenings.
We are committed to employ experienced support staff who can evidence a caring, person centered
approach, commitment, enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a willingness to undertake training to enhance
existing skills and knowledge.
