Overview

Ophir Road is a calm, relaxing home – but one where you’ll never be bored! The people that live here are all involved in running their own home, making decisions about food, decoration, cleaning and their much loved, very busy social calendar. We can support 4 individuals, all the people currently living at Ophir Road are male.

We support people with learning disabilities and complex needs, some of those we support are autistic.

Everyone is encouraged to get out, learn new skills and take up new hobbies; including swimming, gym, boat rides, trampolining, bowling, snooker walks in the forest, trips to the beach , theatre, or even a relaxing trip into town for shopping and lunch – not to mention the amazing holidays!

When people aren’t out and about or visiting their family and friends, there is always someone ready to host a movie night, BBQ, or party – and people enjoy playing games in the communal areas, and having dinner together. The team bring a real focus of wellbeing into the support they offer, encouraging mindfulness and wellbeing for the people living here.
