Overview

At Holly Park we pride ourselves in providing person centred care and encouraging our residents to live independent and engaging lives.
Holly Park is an established and respected home, providing specialist dementia care for people of all ages. The home has been designed to offer a homely feel and offers a warm and homely atmosphere with a choice of homely furnished communal areas offering the wealth of charm and character an old schoolhouse offers.

All of our staff are experienced, fully trained and dedicated to provide consistency and familiarity to our residents, which encourages a safe, secure and personal experience.

Our staff encourage and involve all of the residents in making choices about how they wish to live, ranging from going out shopping for personal items, to deciding on the colours and furnishings for their own bedrooms.

Social care plays a vital role in the daily lives of all of our residents and the primary responsibility of all our staff is to promote health, prevent illness and alleviate suffering, and also to provide physical, mental and social well-being.

The home itself is designed to provide spacious and comfortable facilities for daily living, which is essential to our client’s wellbeing. There is a lounge area and dining area, which allows all of our clients the option to relax and socialise in a warm and homely environment.

There are 35 bedrooms all of which are decorated to provide a warm and cosy personal space, which can be personalised to suit each individual resident by request. All rooms have 24 hour nurse call systems in place.

Home cooked food is prepared daily and our menu planning takes into account the dietary and nutritional requirement of individual clients. Menus are rotated on a regular basis and are designed to provide a variety of choices, using fresh ingredients and local seasonal produce.

Our home provides a regular programme of events and activities designed to cater for a broad range of interests. We like to think of ourselves as an extended family, and our residents partake in interests such as baking, arts & crafts, and even helping to decorate their home. We also extend these activities to outings, functions and events out of the home and actively encourage friends and relatives to take part in being involved .
