Overview
Located in the popular seaside town of Bridlington, Kirkgate House is a welcoming residence that supports up to 28 individuals aged 18 and over with learning disabilities and associated care and support needs. Our home is thoughtfully designed to provide a nurturing environment, comprising five individual living areas, each featuring its own lounge, kitchen, and dining spaces. This layout allows residents to enjoy the comfort of communal living while fostering independence and a sense of belonging.
In addition to the living areas, we have a dedicated Garden Room where residents can socialize with their housemates, participate in activities, or simply relax in a tranquil setting. For those who require minimal support but still appreciate the security and companionship that a care home offers, we provide two apartments designed to meet these needs.
Our dedicated team at Kirkgate House is specialized in supporting individuals with complex needs, as well as those living with a learning disability and dementia. We pride ourselves on our ability to recognize the changing needs of our residents and respond appropriately, ensuring that each person receives the tailored support necessary for their unique situation.
“The team at Kirkgate House are specialised in supporting people with complex needs as well as proving support to people with a learning disability and dementia. The team are adept at recognising the changing needs of people and responding appropriately”
