Hazelgrove Nursing Home is a Dementia Nursing Home for residents over 60 years of age. The home allows residents to experience the freedom of going outside whilst remaining safe in our Court Yard.

All meals are home cooked with fresh ingredients by our experienced chefs, cater for all the resident’s dietary and cultural needs and wishes throughout the day & through the night. Residents are able to choose where they take their meals whether that’s in the dining room, the lounge or in their own rooms.
Hazelgrove Nursing Home offers a range of activities and entertainment from arts and crafts, cooking, flower arranging, sensory relaxing afternoons with relaxing music, old time music sessions, films afternoon, outings in the community, outside entertainers, Monthly Church Services, local children’s nursery visits the home to spend time with our Residents.

There are regular visits from our hair dresser, chiropodist, dentist, optician, weekly visits to our residents by Hazelgrove’s Doctors, etc.
Residents are actively encouraged to have regular contact with family and friends in order to maintain their usual level of social interaction.
Visitors are most welcome at any time, there are not any visiting times specified over any week.

Hazelgrove Nursing Home is a Dementia Nursing Home situated in the Bevendean area of Brighton. The busses stop outside & return to brighton bus stop is just across the road There is free parking on the road. It is within walking distance of a local café, shops and parks.

Both the owners and Simone are proactively involved in the day to day running of the home and personalised care of the residents who live at the home. It is advocated that Hazelgrove is the resident’s home first and foremost as well as being a clinical setting which specialises in Dementia care and Nursing. All the staff are well trained and highly motivated to deliver the best standard of care possible.

Individual care requirements and supportive needs are constantly reviewed and changes implemented accordingly without losing sight of Hazelgrove’s original aim; to provide a secure, relaxed and homely environment in which the residents’ well being and comfort is paramount.

Hazelgrove caters for 38 residents All rooms are en-suite. There are 3 separate wet rooms. There is a large secure court yard in the center of the home allowing residents to experience the freedom of going outside whilst remaining safe.
