Overview
Set within the magnificent gardens and parklands of the Cote Lane retirement community is The Garden House, a care home where life is truly celebrated and the staff are dedicated to creating a life affirming atmosphere for all residents. It has a ‘Good’ rating from the Care Quality Commission.
Garden House has an enviable location within the Cote Lane retirement community and can accommodate up to 102 residents. Not only does it sit within twelve acres of private gardens and parklands, it’s also only a short distance from the leafy village suburbs of Westbury-on-Trym and Henleaze and the vibrant city centre of Bristol itself.
Split into separate units, Garden House provides high quality personalised care, tailored to the needs of the individual. General nursing care is available in the Cedars, Oaks, Maples and Juniper units, whilst Sundials offers specialist care for people living with dementia, with both residential and nursing needs.Within the home we have four beds commisioned by the NHS for End of Life care, of which we are very proud to support residents and their families at this time of their life.
The home has multi- disciplinary skills caring for our residents which include registered nurses, physiotherapists and occupational therapy. Our care team have the opportunity to develop and we have an active learning programme in health & social care, and are proud of our Trainee Nurse Associate programme who are now qualifying to become Registered Nurse Associates.
At Garden House the comfort and contentment of our residents comes first. Whether it’s taking some time to relax outdoors in the sunshine or engaging in one of the many activities, our experienced teams will make sure a stay with us is as fulfilling as possible.
St Monica Trust`s ethos of care is epitomised by its values of Connection, Contribution and Choice and through our circles of care we aim to enable our residents to have a sense of belonging in the home.
