Overview

At Warmley House, our aim is to provide Personal and Nursing care of the highest quality. We encourage self help and independence in order to maintain quality of life for all service users for as long as possible.

Our philosophy is to promote quality care through person centred care. This is achieved with prompts and encouragements, and by respecting the service users’ personal choices, rights, dignity, privacy and independence all within a safe, secure, happy and nurturing environment.

We also aim to recognise each service users’ emotional, psychological, physical and spiritual needs and we actively encourage friends and family to visit our service users.

Warmley House is a 58 bed, registered Nursing home for physically frail people and for people living with Dementia. At Warmley House we provide a safe, secure, friendly, and nurturing environment for our service users. The age group of service users will range from 55 and over.
Warmley House was constructed in 1990’s. Warmley House is an attractive Grade II listed building with a modern extension. It is located on the outskirts of Bristol, situated in Warmley. Warmley is an attractive village about 11 miles from Bristol City Centre. It’s an attractive village with a good selection of local shops, pubs, coffee shops and restaurants. There is good access to the home as the Bristol Ring Road (A4174) is less than a mile away from the home.

You can be assured that the home meets the Care Quality Commission’s compliances, regulations and standards set in the key lines of enquiry (KLOEs) that directly relate to the five key questions. The accommodation is arranged over two floors in two buildings, with communal space on the ground floor and bedrooms on all the floors, access to all floors via a passenger lift or stairs.
The accommodation is split, with residential care in the period building and nursing in the purpose-built extension. We have 27 single occupancy rooms and 2 shared rooms, 22 of which have ensuite facilities, whilst all other rooms have wash basins and WC facilities located nearby. All rooms consist of television point, telephone point and electric profile beds. Our premises is well secured with digital keypads to all external doors. In addition, service users also have a good choice of communal areas to enjoy including, three main lounges with views that look out onto the gardens, 1 bright airy conservatory, 3 dining rooms.

In addition, the areas of Warmley House which are generally for staff use only are as follows: kitchen, staff room, offices, domestic cupboard, Medicine cupboard, nurse station/treatment room, storerooms, tank room and boiler room. At Warmley we provide a safe, secure, friendly, and nurturing environment for our service users. The age group of service users will range from 50 and over.

In addition, the areas of Warmley which are generally for staff use only are as follows: kitchen, staff room, and office, domestic cupboard, Medicine cupboard, storerooms, tank room and boiler room.
