Overview
At Gorse Hill we support individuals who have learning disabilities, complex needs and behaviours that challenge.
We have six bedrooms, each with en-suite facilities as well as four self-contained flats. These have been created to help the people we support gain more independence, possibly with a view to moving into their own home when ready. The property is wheelchair accessible and adaptations can be made to the service to meet individuals’ needs. We also have a number of communal areas, including a lounge, a dining area and a large garden.
Our home is situated in a quiet residential area between Burnley and Padiham town centre. There is a bus stop nearby with regular services to various towns in the area, which the people we support use to access their chosen activities and interests. We also have a service vehicle, which is often used to go further afield.
