Oakmoor Lodge in Bushey represents the latest in care home design. The home includes 72 en-suite bedrooms, all fully furnished with items from our carefully selected range and is situated a short distance away from the popular Bushey Museum and Art Gallery which hosts exhibitions from local artists, as well as from those further afield.
Oakmoor Lodge offers residential and specialist dementia care as well as convalescence care for individuals who just need to get back on their feet again after, say, a stay in hospital or an illness. Short breaks are also on offer, enabling those caring for an individual to take time off from caring, allowing the home to take up the care while they themselves rest and recover.
At Oakmoor Lodge, you have the freedom to enjoy spending time in any way you wish. You’ll have your own fully furnished room with en-suite facilities, a flat screen television as well as your own telephone connection point and Internet access.
f you’re looking to spend time with others the home features a wide range of social areas including comfortable lounges, a number of dining rooms, cosy corners and more. If you’re a film lover, Oakmoor Lodge also has the Arthouse Cinema room for you to enjoy.
There’s also the Gallery Café which has been designed to reflect Bushey’s rich artistic history. The café acts as a focal point of the home and is a wonderful place to sit and chat with others.
