Overview
Introducing Trewithen
Trewithen is a residential care home registered for 5 adults. We specialize in support of adults with autism and learning disabilities with associated complex behaviours. Though located outside the main town, the quiet location is ideal for the people we support who struggle in busy, overcrowded areas.
The team work to support and enable everyone to live the lives they wish to live. Promoting independence and supporting emotional well-being. The individuals at Trewithen engage in a wide range of solo and group activities and have similar interests which promotes the ability to build relationships as peers.
The garden at Trewithen offers space in the home to enjoy the outdoors and through the summer months has been a focus of the team with the individuals to make it a more inviting space. This is a continued home goal.
About Trewithen
Trewithen is a dormer bungalow located in the woods on the outskirts of Camborne in Cornwall.
There are 5 ensuite bedrooms- 4 located on the 1st floor and 1 on the ground floor. We have a large kitchen diner, and 2 communal lounge/social spaces on the ground floor, as well as an office.
There is a further room on the 1st floor for the overnight sleep in. There is a large driveway and garage for parking to the front and a large garden at the back, and 1 individual has his own separate garden room in the grounds. We are about a 20-minute walk to train and bus links, but there are lots of local beautiful walks.
