We offer residential dementia care, dementia nursing care and short-term respite care.
Based in Derbyshire, Riverdale Care Home is a cosy, comfortable and welcoming home within close proximity to Chesterfield city centre. With 40 bedrooms available, residents have plenty of space to decorate their rooms with soft furnishings, photos or personal belongings to truly make the room their own.
Our care home boasts large communal areas with TVs, games and sofas - perfect for socialising or catching up on your favourite programmes. Surrounded by luscious trees and plants, our outdoor courtyard is secure and accessible for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're green-fingered or enjoy relaxing in the sunshine, you'll love the outdoor area at Riverdale Care Home!
Residents in our dementia-friendly care home can enjoy fun activities and events weekly, organised by our dedicated Activity Co-Ordinator. As well as celebrating holidays like Christmas, Hanukkah and the new year, our Activity Co-Ordinator takes the time to discover your hobbies and passions, so they can organise fun days out we know you'll love. From church visits to bingo and painting to swimming, we actively encourage residents to continue their interests with the support of our fully-trained carers.
Our in-house catering team are proudly rated 5-stars by FSA, and create beautiful, hearty meals packed full of the daily nutrients recommended for people over 60. Whether you enjoy spicy food or prefer to keep things simple, our fully-trained chefs tailor their menus to suit you.
