Chorleywood Beaumont is a high quality residential care home in Hertfordshire. Our services range from luxury apartments for independent living, to the main house, providing 24-hour nursing care, respite care and day care.
Dementia Care
We also offer expert dementia care in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, utilising a careful blend of skills and techniques developed by leading experts in the field of dementia care, incorporating person-centred design in its use of colour and cues to help individuals navigate through the home, whilst thoughtful interior design features, such us adapted crockery and tableware assists with reminiscence. Communities are broken up into separate units with a family feel so people can feel safe and comfortable. Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.
As a Barchester home, our experienced and compassionate staff work hard to ensure care is tailored the needs of each resident. Many of our nursing staff at Chorleywood have been with us for well over 10 years and are responsible for instilling our values of respect and dignity. Our person-centred approach is also reflected across all aspects of life within the home. Our skilled chefs are passionate about producing nutritious and delicious meals suited to all tastes and dietary requirements. Similarly, our activities coordinators ensure a varied social programme tailored to the interests and social care needs of all residents.
