Overview

Naseby Care Home provides a safe and homely environment within a real village community. Situated in the heart of Christchurch, a quaint town 15 minutes from Bournemouth.
We provide high-quality residential, respite and end of life care for older people, including those with dementia, sensory loss or mental health care needs. As your needs change, so does the level and type of care we deliver.
Our team are specially trained to provide as little or as much high-quality care you need. There are two lounges and two dining areas throughout the home, plus a large garden with plenty of outdoor furniture to sit out on sunny days with a cup of tea.
Social activities
We place great emphasis on social activities and maintaining the type of life you have had at home, whether that is a quiet and relaxed lifestyle or an active lifestyle. We have weekly trips out to the coast, garden centres, pub lunches, museums and local beauty spots. We love to welcome animals into Naseby – dogs, kittens, birds of prey, even alpacas delight our residents. Buddy and Holly are our resident chirpy budgies. Other regular activities include keep-fit, quizzes, bingo and skittles. We’ve also created a really popular ‘What’s in the box?’ game where residents guess what’s inside the box just by feeling the object.
Dining
At Naseby Care Home you will be served freshly prepared home cooked meals by our team of expert chefs. They ensure all our meals are healthy, nutritionally balanced and, most importantly, locally sources wherever possible. Meals are served in our superb dining room, but you also have the option for food to be served in your room for a more private dining experience.
Nutrition is an important part of the care we provide. That’s why our catering team take time to get to know your likes and dislikes before putting together a vibrant and varied menu for you to choose from.
Bedrooms
We’ve created a relaxed and homely environment for everyone at Naseby, which isn’t at all clinical. We want you to feel comfortable, and for your family members to feel like they’re visiting their relative’s home.
We have 18 bedrooms with three able to accommodate couples for people living at Naseby. All our rooms have ensuites or washbasins in the room. Rooms without ensuites have accessible toilets and bathrooms close by. The bedrooms are a blank canvas for you to personalise with your own photos, pictures and furniture to help you feel at home. It also helps our care team understand what’s important to you, help in building a warm relationship.
Gardens
We have a well-kept secure garden at the back of the building with a lawn, flowerbeds and plenty of space to sit out.
When the weather’s good we like to have tea outside.
