Overview
Introducing Kacee Lodge
Kacee Lodge is set in a small village on the outskirts of Colchester in Essex and is an adapted bungalow offering wheel chair access to all of the people we support who may need assistance with day to day living such as accessing the community and independent living skills.
Our staff focus their support on encouraging individuals to become more independent. We support people to develop life skills such as shopping, meal planning, meal preparation, and help individuals to access the community and to take part in social and leisure activities. Our staff teams also support people to go on annual holidays of their choosing.
Each person is supported to create a person-centred support plan which is designed to empower them to build on their existing skills. Through the care that we provide, we support every individual to achieve their goals and aspirations.
About Kacee Lodge
There are seven bedrooms, many of them with en-suite facilities.
All rooms are decorated to a high standard and reflect the homely atmosphere. The people we support are encouraged to participate in the choosing of colour schemes throughout the home.
The home has a large open plan dining area and a lounge that leads onto a large private secluded garden.
There is an in-house sensory room with various sensory equipment to stimulate the imagination and fuel creativity.
Our Services
Are outcome-focussed and highly person-centred.
Provide 24/7 residential care.
Provide activities tailored to the interest of the individuals we support both in and out of the home.
Are holistic, with person-centred care and support developed in collaboration with the people we support, their families and a multi-disciplinary team of health care professionals.
At a time that is right, we are able to offer a pathway to further independent living. This
might include accessing one of our Supported Living or Outreach services. We strongly believe that every person we support should receive the right level of care in an environment that meets their needs wants and wishes.
Please talk to us about how we can work with you to develop a transitions package.
