Favordale is a purpose built single building situated in the town of Colne and is close to local amenities. The home was opened in 1966 and had a complete refurbishment in 2005.
We are registered to accommodate up to 45 clients over the age of 65.
We have 42 single bedrooms over 10 sq.m. 2 single bedrooms over 16 sq.m. 1 single bedroom under 10 sq.m.
Favordale offers the services of fully trained staff to cater for the needs of residents who have a dementia or need residential care. There are 15 beds registered for dementia care and 30 beds registered for mainstream residential care.
The accommodation within the home is split in four separate areas.
When first entering Favordale you will see the reception, communal lounge, the office, kitchen, staff room and three toilets. There is access to the enclosed courtyard through the hallway.
“Pendle View” is our intended dedicated dementia care unit comprising of 15 bedrooms, lounge with dining area, bathroom, shower area and a quieter lounge and toilets. There is a large enclosed garden with seating and paths.
“Noyna View” comprises 16 bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower and lounge area with dining room and toilets.
Our third area “Wycoller View” is located on the first floor and has a further 14 bedrooms, a bathroom, shower room, dining room and a lounge and toilets.
