Overview
Priory care Residential Home is a privately-owned Cottingham care home providing professional, individual and compassionate care in a friendly, welcoming environment.
We have a residential unit with large lounge area, access to the garden area, dedicated activity space and its own hairdressers. Upstairs is a specialised dementia unit with a sensory garden in the grounds of the home. The last section of the home is the palliative/end of life care part, which is complete with large bright rooms, facilities for families to stay overnight, a kitchenette area and a family lounge area perfect for the full family to visit.
It aims to be more than just a standard care facility as it strives to make each resident’s home a place where they can retain independence, personal freedom and live out their lives with enjoyment and fulfilment.
The staff have many years of experience providing care to older people in a welcoming and friendly atmosphere, where all services are designed to ensure that care home residents are happy and that individual care needs are met. Care workers treat all residents as they would wish to be treated themselves and believe that while old age, dementia or confusion might mean they can no longer live alone, it should not mean any loss of privacy, dignity or respect.
Priory Care accept private clients as well as local authority-funded clients, and welcomes those who have short-term respite needs.
