Welcome to Astor Lodge.
Nestled in the rural area of Northumberland on the outskirts of Cramlington, close to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital (NSEC), Astor Lodge Care Home is a purpose built single storey home with garden space offering nursing care.
There is ample car parking at the home for visitors and bus stop is located outside the home where the number 19, 57 and 58 buses visit.
Inside the home, you will find a quiet lounge where hot drinks are available complimentary, a modern lounge with Radio, TV and DVD player and activities lounge and comfortable dining room serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. All bedrooms are provided with furniture and there are communal shower rooms and bath amenities.
Astor Lodge has two dedicated activities coordinators on site and residents enjoy activities which include entertainers in the home, crafts, prize bingo, gardening, home baking, domino’s, knit and knatter club and activities for special events. For residents who do enjoy quiet time to themselves there are board games available as well as 1-1 time in resident bedrooms.
They have a 5-star award in Food Hygiene and believe food is a huge aspect of their care at Astor Lodge. Residents enjoy a cooked breakfast, choice of lunch and dinner meals, supper and hospitality trolley with drinks and cakes throughout the day.
