Overview

Addington House is a warm, six-bedroom residential home in the suburb of Sanderstead, on the border of Croydon. We support adults with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours that may challenge, in a safe, inclusive, and person-centred environment.

Each bedroom is individually decorated and includes an en-suite bathroom. People we support are actively involved in shaping their support and developing their independence. Staff work closely with individuals to build life skills and confidence, with a focus on personalised outcomes and wellbeing.

The home is rated Good by the CQC and is known for its family-style atmosphere. There is a strong sense of togetherness among the people living at Addington House, supported by respectful relationships and a culturally diverse community.

We encourage access to a wide range of activities both in the home and in the wider community. Croydon offers excellent transport links, shops, restaurants, cinemas, and leisure facilities. Staff support people to maintain friendships, family relationships, and enjoy a fulfilling social life.
