Our ethos is one of positive attitude, with persistence and consistency, offering commitment and stability to the individuals we support as appropriate for their needs. All individuals that reside at New Bourn Lodge have the right to excellent care and support suitable to their needs. New Bourne Lodge is designed around the individual to offer care and support which is person centered and personalized to the individual’s needs
Our admission to New Bourne Lodge we will spend time with the Individual’s developing a person –centred care plan and the recovery star model plan to run alongside.
Our belief is that all Individual’s have their own personal best, everyone can have a goal and achieve the goal, everyone is given the same opportunities to strive towards achieving their goals and ambitions.
Our aims and objectives are to:
Provide a high standard of care person centered to meet individual's needs, regardless of religion, culture sexuality or origin.
To encourage all individuals to maintain wherever possible their social and cultural links with the community and to encourage to participate in the home in out and out house activity programs.
To ensure all Individual's live in a clean, safe environment and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
To offer the individuals a varied healthy diet to meet the individuals' requirements.
Training for the staff to develop their practice and care careers
Six monthly quality assurance surveys to enable us to monitor the satisfaction of our service.
Quality audits completed through the care service to look at the aspects of the care and facilities.
Staffing
Our staff are available 24 hours a day and are supported to develop a high standard or care, skills and knowledge to provide the specialist care we deliver.
Through careful recruitment, induction, mentoring, supervision and appraisals, training we can achieve excellent outcomes for the individuals we support New Bourne Lodge. We have a team of staff who provide the best possible care to the individuals we support ,individual's that reside at New Bourne Lodge will achieve excellent outcomes due to the staff undertake comprehensive training that includes, mental health, self-harm, person centered care, risk management, substance misuse wellbeing and risk management. We work in close partnership with the local authorities and the CCG and the community mental health teams
