Overview

York House is situated in the picturesque market town of Dereham, Norfolk. The home can accommodate up to 43 residents and has been rated ‘Good’ by CQC. We can provide short-term, respite care or longer term support at the home.

The home York House has a warm and cosy atmosphere, and is always full of laughter from both residents and staff.

There are bedrooms on the ground and first floors with a lift. We have large communal living areas and a dining room where we provide healthy, nutritious meals. We are delighted that our kitchen has recently received a 5 star food safety certificate, which supports our commitment to providing a high quality service to our residents.

The home benefits from a spacious mature garden which blooms beautifully in the summer, and is situated only a short distance from Dereham town centre.

Dereham is a charming town with many independent businesses and attractions including a swimming pool, golf club, cinema and a range of high street shops, banks and doctors surgeries. It has excellent road and bus links to travel to Norwich or the nearby towns of Fakenham and Kings Lynn.

We are proud to offer people in Dereham and the surrounding areas a safe place to call home, where they can get any extra support and guidance they require. Our trusted friendly staff are proud to provide person-centred care and put the needs of our residents first at all times.
