Fieldhead Court is a residential and nursing home in the Thornhill area of Dewsbury, which can accommodate 45 residents, we are situated in an attractive conservation area, the Home is steeped in traditional features and old world charm. The Home has a fascinating history and the well established team (many who have worked here for 20 years or more) work hard to provide exceptional care, honouring the dignity, comfort and personal freedom of every resident. The warm and friendly atmosphere offers and ideal environment for residential short or long stay, respite, nursing and palliative care. it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC, and we always strive to improve.
Parkview Wing at Fieldhead Court Residential & Nursing Care Home offers compassionate care for the end of life. As a well established care team we work alongside the Residents, their families, Palliative teams, Hospices and Hospitals to ensure an individualised care package and treatment regime is developed to meet the needs of each individual resident. Ensuring we provide emotional and physical support as well as personal needs including holistic care needs, religious/cultural support, family and friend support, social needs and much more. The staff are all trained to care for end of life residents having completed the End of Life Care Workbook and online training. In 2023 we were awarded the Kirklees End of Life Care Champions Programme.
