Overview
The Granary is a registered residential home offering support to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs, including ongoing mental health conditions. The service prioritises creating a homely environment, combining everyday living with opportunities for recreation, education, and social interaction. Close links with the local community enable the people we support to engage with a variety of facilities and activities, encouraging personal development and new experiences.
The Granary features six spacious bedrooms alongside shared spaces such as a lounge, dining room, quiet area, and assisted showering and bathing facilities. Nearby, Brandeslodge offers two separate houses: one provides individual bedrooms with private kitchen/lounge areas and toilets, while the other has bedrooms, some with en-suite facilities. Individuals in both houses have access to the Granary's amenities.
Brandeslodge also includes an activity room where individuals can enjoy arts and crafts, bingo, karaoke, and other activities of their choice. Additionally, there is a daily living skills room with a small kitchen area, washer dryer, kettle, and microwave, helping the people we support develop essential skills.
Outside, the Granary boasts a private grassed area perfect for lawn activities and picnics, as well as a large greenhouse where residents can grow their own plants. Two vehicles are available to ensure easy access to health care services, outings, activities, and holidays.
