ACCOMODATION
All rooms are single, spacious , comfortably furnished with central heating, smoke detectors and a call bell system.
Three Gables provide a safe and caring environment, encouraging independence and freedom of choice with due respect of individual rights
We also aim to provide quality person centred care involving the resident and their relatives in planning the care.
We encourage residents to feel at home by welcoming then to move in with their belongings such as a small items of furniture (safety standards to be adhered)
Flexible visiting hours for relatives and friends.
Our visitors can visit any time.
On request manager can arrange visits during unsocial hours.
Care Provision:
The home provides the following
• special dietary needs
• Inhouse laundry service
• Routine appointments with GP,
• District nurse/ Community nurse Visits
• Visits by other professional e.g. Dentist, chiropodist etc.
The home has competent staff on duty 24hr .
Staff are fully aware of health and safety issues, first aid, fire preventions and control.
All staff will ensure that all service users needs are met as identified.
The home will actively encourage personal hobbies and recreational activities on an individual or as a group basis through a dedicated activities coordinator and staff team
Outings are encouraged and organised for the individuals as required
Relative information board will provide information on future meetings, activities, information on any new developments
The home has an open door policy for relatives and next of kin to raise any concerns or discuss careplans with the manager or other team members.
At 3 Gables we provide 24/7 care for all activities of daily living as per residents needs, and caring assistance.
The residents can expects their new home will be just that, their own home shared in the community with other residents who come together to socialise and air grievances, plan activities and share the knowledge and wisdom with each other and all who choose to visit them.
