Overview
Grace House Care Home Ltd provides residential care to older people and those living with the challenges of dementia, disabilities or sensory impairment. They can also accommodate shorter stays, such as convalescent care after a hospital visit, respite care or palliative care.
Grace House is set on a country lane in the bucolic outskirts of Farnham, Surrey. A stone’s throw from a medical practice, the home is also close to nearby amenities in the village of Lower Bourne.
Set over two floors, residents each have their own bedroom and some bedrooms have en-suite facilities. The home has a private garden where residents can relax and get some fresh air, or sometimes spot visiting wildlife from the surrounding woodlands and fields.
Residents are valued as individuals and their needs and wishes are supported through person-centred care plans. Food is freshly prepared in the home’s kitchen and the kitchen team know each resident’s dietary requirements, favourite foods and dislikes.
There is a weekly timetable of activities to keep residents stimulated and entertained. Activities can include quizzes, art, film nights, beauty treatments, baking, flower arranging, outings and day trips, animal therapy and visiting entertainers, to name a few!
