Overview
351 Maidstone Road offers support for five people with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including autism and Asperger’s Syndrome, or those who present behaviours that challenge.
351 Maidstone Road is an expansive detached home featuring a lounge, dining area, kitchen, a quiet space, and a generous shared garden at the rear. Each bedroom is equipped with its own ensuite bathroom, with three of them offering showers to enhance privacy and autonomy. Additionally, there is an annex comprising a separate lounge, kitchen, and a spacious bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, providing increased independence for individuals who need minimal assistance or additional personal space for those requiring intensive one-on-one support.
Our home is situated in the quiet neighbourhood of Wigmore in Medway, approximately 45 minutes from London and conveniently close to local amenities and transport links. We have a house vehicle available, and a bus stop is located within a five-minute walk, providing services to the town and the nearby shopping centre. Additionally, Rainham Train Station is just a 20-minute walk away, allowing for independent travel. Our location provides excellent access to various activities and events, including bowling, swimming, excursions to Riverside Country Park or the seaside, as well as opportunities to join individuals from other local services for parties. We assist each individual in planning and booking their holidays, with recent trips including visits to France and Chessington World of Adventures.
