Overview

About Us
Snaith Hall is a beautiful Grade two listed building set in lovely grounds and is registered to provide residential care for up to 47 people from the local and wider community, boasting luxurious accommodation for individuals to enjoy. It comprises two purpose built units, The Garden Wing and The Hall (incorporating the Flower wing), both joined by covered walkways. It is located near the centre of the town of Snaith in the East Riding of Yorkshire and has undergone extensive refurbishment and redecoration since 2015 in keeping with the character of the home.
Snaith Hall is a building seeped in history dating back to c.1829 when it was built by William Shearburn. The Shearburn family had a great influence on the town of Snaith working as solicitors and landowners until the twentieth century and we commemorate them through displaying the Busts of William and Mary Shearburn (see gallery). It has gone through many transitions in its former years since being built, from a place of residency to a bed and breakfast where all the rooms were named after birds, to a restaurant named The White Elephant and to its current state of being a care home. We have maintained the tradition of bedrooms names of birds oin the Hall part with all other rooms being named after trees and flowers.

Snaith Hall is Registered with the Care Quality Commission to provide residential care for up to 47 residents and are registered to provide care under the following categories;
Residential Care - The environment at Snaith Hall is conducive to being homely for our residents to enjoy, with lots of different areas for them to socialize or enjoy peace and quiet. Caring for residents under the residential category is to support residents with any aspects of personal care and support they may need.
Dementia Care – We are experienced in managing residents with Dementia and although we do not accept new referrals where residents regularly display distressed behaviours (unless there is a medical reason for doing so), we are committed to tailoring care to each residents specific needs. Our goal is to promote a good quality of life to support emotional wellbeing and purpose and embrace building relationships with both the resident and their loved ones as they navigate changes in their lives to support their ongoing relationships.
Respite Care
We provide respite stay in all of our homes which is a short stay/holiday that is beneficial to both residents and their loved ones/carers. Short stays in our homes can be used for many reason but most commonly it supports carers who need a break or a holiday themselves. It can also be used to support recovery from injury or operation or may be used a s a trial for potentially longer term residencies in the home.
