Overview

The Hollies Residential Home is a home in the area of Gravesend, which can accommodate just under 40 residents. The Hollies Residential Home also offers the following short stay services; respite care, intermediate care and discharge to assess.

We bought The Hollies in 1989 and converted it from an eight bedded home to 18 beds.

Over the next few years conservatories, disabled and adapted bathrooms and many improvements have been made.

It is now only with the purchase of the adjoining property that we have been able to realise our ambition, which is of one large, purpose-build home, which meets all of the National Care Standards and includes a coffee shop, residents shop, hair dressing salon and clinical rooms.

At The Hollies we provide emergency support and skilled care in comfortable homely surroundings. We have created a happy and lively family atmosphere for the elderly who are no longer able to live in their own homes.

Some of our philosophy focuses on the comfort of our residents. An individual’s comfort can only be achieved with patience, empathy and support.

Our Carers are encouraged to present a gentle, subtle approach, nobody has been discouraged from spending time talking to residents.

Dignity & Independence is everyone’s right
