Overview
The Anchorage is a 42 bedded enhanced specialist care home split between an 13 bedded enhanced dementia community (The Haverstoe Suite) and a 28 bedded residential dementia community situated in Grimsby. It received a rating of Outstanding from the Care Quality Commission at its last inspection.
Offering permanent, respite and day care services, our person-centred care is tailored around the individual and delivered by a highly specialised team who understand the needs and capabilities of each person. We provide a high quality approach to meaningful and fulfilling activities which are a key part to enabling people to engage and live well with dementia.
The Manager writes…..
“Our ethos is to provide the highest quality of care for our older generation. We pride ourselves on making a difference to people who live with a Dementia ensuring they have a better quality of life whilst maintaining their own skills and independence. Through the application of this ethos we were overjoyed to be rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. I am over the moon that we have achieved this rating. We put our residents at the heart of everything we do, and we cater for the varying and diverse needs across our home every day.
I am so proud of the hardworking staff here at The Anchorage who come in daily with smiles on their faces, ready to make a difference.”
