At Filsham Lodge, our aim is to create an atmosphere in which our residents can live as normal a life as possible. We aim to provide a safe, welcoming and comfortable environment that feels like home, ensuring our residents are treated with care, compassion, dignity and respect.

Filsham Lodge specialised in advanced dementia care with secure facilities and provides enhanced 1-1 care where required.

Filsham Lodge is currently managed by Michelle Love-Patel. Michelle is a registered Nurse with 8 years experience of working in the NHS. Michelle has spent her nursing career working in various healthcare settings within the community and Nursing Home sector. Michelle also has a degree in Leadership and Management and has previously supported Nursing homes through Improvement Plans with her vast knowledge of CQC requirements. Michelle came to Filsham in September 2023 and is dedicated to ensuring our residents are being provided with a high standards of care which is tailored to resident individual needs using holistic assessments. Michelle has a passion for ensuring care provided is safe, dignified and person-centred.

Filsham Lodge has recently undergone some extensive improvements.
Electronic care note and medication systems have been implemented to assist with the safe delivery of treatment and care. All staff employed at Filsham Lodge have access to an extensive training programme with yearly reviews. As well as changes to processes, Filsham Lodge is undergoing some decorative improvements with communal areas, lounges and bedrooms being refurbished with modernised furnishings, textiles and flooring.

PetPals Therapy are frequent visitors to Filsham Lodge and we enjoy seeing a variety of animals including lambs and chicks. Filsham Lodge also have a "quiet lounge" which can be booked by families who wish to spend some quality time with their loved one. We also offer personalised menus and have food supplied by Apetito, to ensure residents have a nutritious and balanced diet with variety and choice.
