Overview

Fernside Hall is a beautiful, residential care home for adults with a relaxed, family feel to the home. We are located in Halifax’s Manor Heath / Savile Park area, a few miles from the town centre. As a smaller-than-average residential home, our amazing and dedicated staff team can spend lots of time supporting the 22 adults living in our homely surroundings with their day-to-day living and ensuring they live safely. We support people on either a permanent placement or for shorter respite stays as well. Our staff are experienced to support individuals 24 hours a day, in a personalised and safe way. We have experience of supporting people who live with the early symptoms of Dementia.
Our activities coordinator ensures lots is going on, which is led by residents’ interests and hobbies. These range from regular quizzes, bingo, chair yoga sessions and social outings to garden centres and local parks. We also have external entertainers in service, whether that be music and singing, animal interaction experiences to local toddler groups visiting us. You can be assured that there is always something going on in Fernside Hall. Fernside Hall is a special, grand home with a wonderfully caring and established staff team. Our home has a warm and welcoming feel, and our residents live together safely as part of a community. We ensure people keep in touch as much as possible with family through video phone calls, garden visits or in designated safe spaces in the home. These can be arranged through our booking systems.
We have several ensuite bedrooms and three accessible bathrooms. There are two TV lounges, visiting hairdressers, enclosed gardens, and a patio area for people to enjoy. There is a lift for accessibility. Internet and WiFi is available at Fernside Hall for our residents to use. There is a call button system and parking available at the home.
