Overview

Briardene is a home in the Central area of Harrogate, close to the town centre. We can accommodate just under 13 full-time residents - it has a 'Good' rating from the CQC. Care can be provided for those with Autism and/or a learning disability. We have a low turn over of staff, with 80% of the current care team working in the home over 20 years. The manager is Paulsimon Robinson. He was worked full-time at the home since June 1995, holding all care roles, becoming Registered manager in 2011. Briardene has a strong "home" ethos. We keep signage to the minimum required and have a strong approach to inclusion and personalisation when it comes to the decoration of the communal and personal areas of the home, something we are regularly praised for by visitors of all types. The home has a large dinning room and two lounges along with a beautiful custom outside space with covered seating and a summer house with lots of facilities. We have a new fully accessible none branded mini bus for 2x weekly day trips & special trips on request.
