Overview

Five Penny House offers support to six individuals with learning disabilities, physical disabilities and autism.

Our spacious detached home has six bedrooms – one with en-suite facilities. Bedrooms on the upper floor can be accessed using a stair lift, providing accessibility throughout the home. Shared areas include a dining room, a conservatory and a large lounge where the people we support can spend time with their housemates and family members, while also serving as a space for solo and group activities. There is also an expansive, enclosed garden with a lawn and patio area, providing a pleasant place to relax.

Five Penny House is close to Hartlepool town centre with good public transport links. We encourage everyone to make use of local amenities and be as independent as possible. We visit shops, pubs and clubs as well as attending local events. The wider area has many leisure facilities which allow individuals to take part in a variety of activities; this includes a swimming pool.
