Overview

Willowdene Care Home is a residential and nursing home on Victoria Road West in Hebburn. The home has 50 warm and welcoming bedrooms that are tastefully decorated, with their own en suites. The newly revamped sunny, spacious lounges and dining rooms overlook the gardens that wrap around the home.

Willowdene achieved a ‘Good’ rating from the CQC who recognised the high standards of care provided in the home.

The team provides residential care for people who have become too frail to look after themselves as well as dementia residential, nursing and specialist nursing care for those who are living with dementia alongside any underlying health conditions. In addition, we support short stay services; Respite and Day care. We work closely with the teams at local hospitals and support discharge to assess placements, intermediate care and periods of rehabilitation.

The home has a dedicated activities coordinator who tailors events, activities and outings around residents and their interests. In the warmer months we encourage residents to enjoy the gardens, where many people relish the opportunity to grow their own flowers and vegetables. Family members and friends are always welcome to visit and to participate in events too.

Our catering team delivers delicious home cooked food from a 5-star hygiene rated kitchen. Special dietary needs and personal preferences are part of this taste-laden service.

Willowdene is a comfy, caring home from home so pop in for a visit today.
