Overview
Are you searching for a residential care home that offers a homely environment? At Polventon House, we serve the Helston and Lizard communities with our welcoming facilities. At Polventon House, we have room for 19 residents of either gender. Our superb coastal location allows us to offer a relaxing environment that residents of various ages enjoy spending time in. If you or your loved ones have extra physical needs or require dementia care, we're happy to accommodate them. We offer a range of single rooms and views across St Mawes and Falmouth Bay. At Polventon House, we do what we can to promote an independent lifestyle amongst all of our residents.
To ensure your relative enjoys their time with us to the full, we'll create a bespoke activity plan that meets their unique needs and interests. From memory games through to carpet bowls, we aim to find something for everyone. We also like to involve our local community and bring in external entertainers such as singers and musicians on a regular basis. In addition to promoting a diverse activity range, we give your relatives the chance to enjoy their usual hobbies. We can accommodate a range of personal interests, including art work, knitting, and fitness as well as day trips out. We welcome family members and friends to visit at any time. We will encourage your relatives to take part in a breadth of activities, which you are also welcome to join in with alongside the person you are visiting. We want you to feel as at home at Polventon as we aim to make our residents feel.
If you'd like a break from caring, you may want to try our day care facilities. At Polventon House, we offer day care to people living in the Helston and Lizard areas. We offer our the first day care session as a FREE, no obligation trial, so that you can get to know us, and we can get to know you. We also have an adapted, wheelchair accessible car and provide transport too and from Polventon House where required.
We welcome you to take a look at the News and Events section on our website (www.polventon.co.uk) or Facebook page, to keep up to date with all of our ongoings here at Polventon.
