Overview

Holmer Care Home with Nursing also offers the following short stay services; discharge to assess.

Holmer Manor Care Home has a great reputation throughout the area for providing the highest standards of nursing, residential and dementia care for up to 40 residents. In addition we can provide respite care from 1 week upwards as well as day care for individuals who require assistance with their personal care during the day but are able to return home for the night.

Located next to the peaceful Holmer church, off the Leominster road on the northern edge of Hereford, Holmer Manor is a beautiful Victorian building with a purpose-built extension with a lovely 'sun trap' secluded garden area and provides great facilities suitable for a variety of different needs.

Our goal is to provide truely differentiated superior levels of high-quality care for people needing either Nursing or Residential Care and to maximise resident's overall wellbeing . The team strives to provide unbeatable levels of respect, dignity, support, and loving care towards each of our residents at all times.

We understand that each of our residents is different. We provide very detailed personalised care plans to ensure all individual needs and requirements are met. Each plan is tailored using input from the residents’, their families, assigned key workers, allocated nurses, and the results of regularly reviewed assessments. This person-centred service ensures care is delivered accordingly. We have discovered that our personalised and detailed care plans offer peace of mind to the residents themselves and families that may be concerned about the transition into care.

Holmer Manor has a strong relationship with a team of local medical professionals. We work closely with GP’s, Mental Health Nurses and Social Workers to ensure support is accessible at all times for both our residents and their families. We also have strong relationships with practitioners of holistic treatments including aromatherapy and reflexology.

Holmer Manor is family owned and operated with true family values . As such Holmer is unlike many other corporately run nursing and residential care homes in and really offers a true ‘home from home’ environment within which we aim to make each resident feel safe, valued and relaxed . With a range of activities and visiting professionals, residents have plenty to keep them entertained. However, if a resident simply wants to be on their own, to read a book, watch television etc, we ensure those wishes are met too. Each of our services are tailored to the individual with the goal of enhancing their overall wellbeing for all of the time that they live at Holmer Manor.

Holmer Manor’s wonderful range of facilities, fully inclusive care packages and team of experienced carers make us a top choice for those looking for specialist residential or nursing care homes in Herefordshire.

The home is truely different from many other care homes and that can best be appreciated by visiting us, so please feel free to contact the home to arrange to come and meet the Team
